The PCD-FDE2 has all of the features of the PCD-FDE1 and more! The PCD-FDE2 has more memory, faster CPU, more flash, and incorporated a wireless interface.
More memory and faster CPU allows us to add more features moving forward. Such as Amazon Alexa for voice control. Imagine saying "alexa, please turn on the music in the living room".
With a wireless interface and additional memory, we have incorporated the configuration interface into the unit. This means no more cloud server to configure online. All configuration is done using an integrated Web app that can be accessed via phone, tablet, or laptop, all done through the wireless management interface of the PCD-FDE2.
